Derry Township, Pa. -- State police and the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate the gruesome murder of Samantha Lang.
Lang, 22, was found dead in a pool of blood inside her father’s Derry Township home along Route 982 in March of 2007.
Investigators said a rear door was forced open, the house was ransacked and Lang was found with her throat slit near a hallway.
In the 15 years since the murder, detectives have received a number of tips, but an arrest has never been made.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction in the cold case.
Investigators and the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office are actively investigating and requesting the public’s help in solving this cold case homicide.
