Greensburg, PA -- The ongoing search for a fugitive led investigators to a large stash of drugs inside a local hotel room.
Westmoreland County Nicole W. Ziccarelli announces charges filed by sheriff's deputies against Charles Kutzer, 41.
Deputies were searching for fugitive, Kelly Preacher, when tips led them to the Red Roof Inn in Hempfield Township on January 31, 2023.
Preacher was found hiding in a room rented by Kutzer, along with another female.
Deputies said a search of the room revealed a large number of drugs including 3 grams of crack cocaine, methamphetamine, 200-300 bags of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Kutzer is now facing drug related charges and is in the Westmoreland County Prison on $100,000 bond.
