Arnold, PA -- A year-long investigation has resulted in criminal charges against three people accused of possessing and using drugs that prompted a woman's death.
Westmoreland County Detective Bureau was called to assist Arnold Police in May of 2024 after a suspected overdose involving four people.
Officers responded to a residence in the 1400 block of 5th Avenue in Arnold and found four individuals suffering from an apparent overdose.
Three were transported from the residence and a fourth, Lisa Fallert, was found deceased on the first floor, according to police.
Officers also located a 7-year-old and 17-year-old inside the residence, and both were safely removed from the home and placed with relatives.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned Fallert was at the residence with Cameron Richards, Rashid Robinson, and Jihad Hughes celebrating an anniversary.
Upon searching the scene, Arnold Police and County Detectives observed a bag of suspected cocaine near one of the victims and more baggies of suspected cocaine in a man's wallet and a woman's purse.
The suspected cocaine found at the scene was sent to a Pennsylvania State Police Crime Lab which indicated the substance found in a bag tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl.
As a result of the investigation, Cameron Richards, Rashid Robinson, and Jihad Hughes were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal conspiracy, and endangering the welfare of children.
