Greensburg, PA -- A collective effort by the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office, Westmoreland County Drug Task Force, agents with the Office of the Attorney General, and Westmoreland County Sheriff's Office resulted in the arrest of one man after police executed a search warrant at the Red Roof Inn in Greensburg on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Police searched a room at the Red Roof Inn and a vehicle at the Sheraton Drive hotel as a result of an ongoing investigation.
Brandon Lewis was taken into custody without incident when he arrived back to the motel.
A search of Lewis resulted in the seizure of 36 grams of suspected fentanyl, 33 grams of suspected cocaine, and 27 grams of suspected crack.
The total street value for the drugs is approximately $13,200.
Inside of the room, law enforcement found a backpack that allegedly contained 29 bricks of suspected fentanyl and approximately $3,300 in cash.
Lewis had active arrest warrants from the board of parole in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Lewis told investigators he was accidently released from the Mercer County Jail in mid-February.
Lewis was transported to the Westmoreland County Prison and charged with possession with intent to deliver, prohibited acts - controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
