Ada Jane Groomes was last seen on October 7, 1988, at Groomes Transit Company, East Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County. 

Ada Groomes and her husband owned a school bus transportation company at the time of her disappearance. 

Ada Groomes was last seen wearing blue jeans and possible jacket (size 8, peach in color). 

Ada Groomes was 54 years old when she went missing.
