Greensburg, PA -- Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli is honored to kick off the campaign for the Westmoreland County Park Police K9 Fund.

Westmoreland County Park Police are hoping to add a narcotics detection K9 to its roster in 2023.

District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli contributed $5,000 toward the Park Police’s goal. The donation from the district attorney comes from the office’s drug forfeiture account.

Park Police’s new addition will join the ranks of K9 Rico, a 2-year-old German Shepard/Belgian Malinois mix trained in explosive detecting and human tracking.
