Hempfield Township, PA -- Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli spent the day talking to Project 18 students at Hempfield Area High School on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Hempfield’s Project 18 is a civics course that focuses the levels of government and getting involved in local elections.

DA Ziccarelli spoke to four different classes throughout the day and talked about her education, work and election experience, in addition to the function of the office.

She was so impressed by the students, the course, and insightful questions they asked. She is excited to see their success in the future.

DA Ziccarelli was honored to be asked to present to Project 18 students for a second time by teacher Mr. Ken Stough.
