Belle Vernon, PA -- Pennsylvania State Police Troop A & B's Shop with a Cop program is rolling through the aisles of area Walmart stores ahead of the holiday season. 

The annual program kicked off Monday at the Walmart in Belle Vernon and will continue for two weeks. 

Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli joined local law enforcement for the second year to help take area kids shopping. 

The non-profit organization takes hundreds of kids shopping every year who have been victims of crime or exposed to unfortunate circumstances. 

The program has been in operation for more than a decade and has raised more than a half a million dollars.
