Press Release VP Nominee J.D. Vance Visit to Lower Burrell Update

The Lower Burrell Police Department would like to reiterate that the visit from Vice Presidential Nominee, Senator JD Vance, to the VFW Post 92 in Lower Burrell on Thursday, August 15, 2024, is an invite only event.  This is not open to the public and there will be no admission without the prior invitation.  We hope this provides clarity and avoids any confusion for those who may have been seeking admission.

The following road closures will be in place on Thursday, August 15, 2024, between 06:00 am and 12:00 pm:

     Wildlife Lodge Road

     - between State Route 56 Bypass and Milligantown Road

     New Hampshire Drive

     - lower section from Wildlife Lodge Road including access to Route 56 Mini Storage.  All residents on New Hampshire Drive and surrounding streets will have full access to and from their residences via Sylvan Drive.

Please be prepared for additional momentary closures in this area within this time frame.
