Murrysville, PA -- A local state representative and Westmoreland's Area Agency on Aging are hosting a "$camJam" next month to help prevent residents from falling victim to scams.
The program includes a host of speakers who will share information about current scams circulating the region and fraudulent activity.
The event will be hosted at the Murrysville Community Center on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The program will feature speakers from the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office, Murrysville Police, and a representative from AARP of Pennsylvania.
$camJam is organized through the PA Department of Banking and Securities' Investor Education and Consumer Outreach Office, the Westmoreland AAA and Representative Jill Cooper.
